How to Treat Dead Grass

Having grass that has turned dead and brown is often an unsightly experience, and can even be an embarrassment if neighbors have grasses that are lush and green. Those that are looking to replace their dead grass with new growth can do so if they know how to approach the situation properly. Treating dead grass is not as hard as many people may believe, and can be done in a matter of hours, if not less.

The fest approach to treating dead grass is to water it. Sometimes, all it takes is the nutrients from the water to for dead grass to become alive and revived again. Some people may want to take it a step further and remove the dead grass from the area, and lay down fresh plots of grass that will be certain to make the grass grow. This is a good way to recover grass, although it can turn out to be a costly procedure. Others may prefer to purchase grass seed and throw this down on top of the grass that is already there, which can also be effective. Again, with the new grass that is being placed, or the seeds that are sown, it is important to make sure that there is adequate water that is used for the treatment of the grass. In no time, dead grass can be alive and vibrant again – possibly even creating the latest talk of the neighborhood with a new, healthy and beautiful lawn.
